2012 model Mercedes 6×6 CPT rig (22 tonne) that is both mine site and construction site compliant. Excellent off road, this rig is as at home in boggy conditions as it is on the highway. Our extremely efficient rig means less time on site resulting in a more cost efficient service for our clients.  This was well demonstrated when we managed 490m of CPT in just 18 hours of actual work time over two days. Fitted to the rig is a geodetic grade differential GPS unit that is capable of surveying each test/sample location on site to 100mm accuracy for position and ground elevation. The GPS readings are taken at the conclusion of each test and are virtually instantaneous adding no time at all on site.
